As part of MISC Group of Companies, MISC Maritime Services Sdn. Bhd. (MMS) serves as the centre for maritime services in the provision of port and terminal management and operations, marine assurance and compliance, and consultancy services to a range of clients in the energy sector. As a service provider who prides itself in delivering high standards of operational excellence, we recruit the best talents comprising of highly experienced and qualified marine technical personnel and consultants, accredited inspectors and engineers.
MMS was initially incorporated in 1992 as PETRONAS Maritime Services Sdn. Bhd. (PMSSB). Over the years, we have operated numerous ports and terminals in Malaysia and in 2015, PMSSB became part of the MISC Group and was rebranded as MMS.

Incorporation of PETRONAS Maritime Services Sdn Bhd
Establishment of Kertih Port Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary to operate Kertih Port, Terengganu (later sold to PETRONAS in September 2010)
Establishment of Sg Udang Port Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary to operate Sg Udang Port, Melaka.
Commenced operation and management of SBM for Bintulu Crude Oil Terminal, Sarawak
Commenced operation and management of Terengganu Crude Oil Terminal, Terengganu
Commenced operation and management of SBM for Sabah Oil and Gas Terminal, Sabah
Rebranded as MISC Maritime Services Sdn Bhd
Sungai Udang Port Sdn Bhd (SUPSB) managed the marine operation for Southeast Asia’s first LNG Bunkering Vessel (LBV)
MMS became a member of Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF)
